Prices per vehicle, one way, for Comfort / SUV (up to 4 passengers). Premium Van (up to 7) and larger vehicles on request. Night pick-ups (22:00 to 07:00): +20%. Transfers to the airport cost 5 € less than the same route from the airport, because an airport pick-up includes waiting time and parking. Until The Porter Tours starts operating in 2027, transfers are operated by a trusted partner, and we confirm the operator in your quote.

How we meet you at Porto Airport
Collect your luggage
Go through passport control if your flight requires it, and collect your bags in the baggage hall.
Walk out to arrivals
Your driver waits at the arrivals exit with a sign showing your name.

To the car
Your driver helps with your luggage and walks with you to the car, in the P0 car park. Parking is included in the price.
We follow your flight. If it lands early or late, we adjust the pick-up to your actual landing time, and the first 30 minutes after landing are free.

Before you land, and before you fly home
Luggage, children and groups
The SUV (Honda HR-V) takes up to 4 passengers and 2 large suitcases. For more people or more luggage, we arrange a larger vehicle on request.
Child seats are free. Request them at least 48 hours before your transfer and tell us the ages and approximate weight of the children. Portuguese law requires children under 12 and shorter than 135 cm to travel in a suitable child seat.
Back to the airport
We also take you to Porto Airport from your hotel or accommodation. Book your pick-up this much earlier than the time your airline asks you to be at the airport:
- From Porto: 40 minutes
- From Vila Nova de Gaia: 1 hour
- From Braga: 1 hour
- From the Douro Valley: 2 hours
For example, if your airline asks you to be at the airport at 10:00, from Porto we pick you up at 09:20.

Douro Valley: Peso da Régua and Pinhão
From 198 € per vehicle. The two river towns at the heart of the Port wine region, with quintas and wine hotels on the slopes above the Douro. Give us the name of your quinta or hotel and we drive you to its door.

Leixões Cruise Terminal
From 28 € per vehicle. The cruise terminal is in Matosinhos, on the Atlantic coast next to Porto. Joining a cruise straight from your flight? Tell us the name of your ship and the boarding time, and we plan the drive so you reach the terminal with time to spare.
Guimarães
From 85 € per vehicle. The town where Portugal began, with a medieval castle and a historic centre listed by UNESCO. Much of the old centre is pedestrian, so we stop as close to your hotel as the streets allow.
Braga
From 80 € per vehicle. The main city of the Minho, with the oldest cathedral in Portugal and the baroque stairway of Bom Jesus do Monte on the hill above. Braga and Guimarães are close to each other: our Guimarães & Braga tour covers both in a day.
Vila Nova de Gaia
From 40 € per vehicle. Across the river from Porto's Ribeira, where the Port wine lodges line the waterfront. A good base if you want the old town in view and the lodges a short walk away.

How do I pay?
By bank transfer, MB WAY, card or cash. For transfers, payment is on the day of the service, or in advance when the quote requires it. The website does not take payments.

Who we are
The Porter Tours provides private transfers and tours across Porto, the Douro and Northern Portugal. We are a tourism activity operator under Portuguese law, and our RNAAT registration is in progress.
